My name is Jacob P.. What I am about to write here is my personal thoughts and secrets that I would never tell anyone even if it kills me. I am so depressed that I am unhappy as there can be possibly. I am 15 years old and have no friends. Just acquaintances. Nobody knows me, people call me names and I do nothing about it, most of the time. I take a lot of people’s shit and never do much about it unless I’m really really pissed off. Today was just another shitty day in my life. All the same, basically, with the exception of a few more things to be upset about. My typical day of the week is this: I wake up, take a shower, get out of the shower, try to find something to wear that I like and is alright looking, then mess with my curly as chlorine hair for about 20 minutes. Get into a car with my mom, she drops me off at school on her way to work. I arrive at school usually about 7:55 and walk around the hallways for about 25 minutes by myself.
I feel ashamed of writing this, I am so messed up that I am embarrassed even in my head for doing this… while walking around I just walk up and down the halls for excuses to look at the person I like and can’t get the nerve to talk to her or even say hi. I am pretty sure she likes me too, but I don’t know what to do, I am to shy to talk to her or even say hi back when she says hi to me. Then I go to my first period class and sit. I don’t talk to hardly anyone in the class. This clown that sits in front of me use to be my friend. Now he is just embarrassing. He doesn’t do a damn thing to his hair from the time he gets up in the morning to the time he gets out of swim practice. All he talks about is World of Warcraft shit that is so gay. Every time he talks to someone else that plays it, that’s all he talks about. He says these stupid as phrases he hears in the game and is really obnoxious. He thinks that he is so smart and everyone else is inferior to him. He is a freak too who says he has OCD, just because he won’t touch his damn food cause he says he doesn’t want to put dirty food in his fat belly. The nasty beast spits on his hands and rubs them together and some how that is ok? Do not think so, sick bastard. After 1st hour, I walk out the hallway just try to hurry to get a glimpse of the girl that I like coming out of her class, hoping that something will change, never does. I am pretty certain that she likes me, but not to sure that maybe it is because I want her to like me back. I think about her all the time. Then I go to my 2nd period class and just sit for over an hour listening to this old bitch teacher who hates the kids, yet try’s to Be cool? The kids are laughing at her and she just shakes off whatever she is doing and says it is the objects fault or other. After 2nd, I wait in the classroom just to make sure im the last one out to waste some time so I can walk down the same hall and see the girl I like looking at her for a few seconds and it all just stays the same. Some days when she says hi to me its really quietly while she is walking, sorta spitted out. I do not know. 3rd hour is stupid as hell. This bastard calls me a retard and makes fun of me. I can kick his ass so bad and I choked him in 6th grade once already… And I was even nice to him when he got in a car crash and has his retarted face wired shut. Then this one kid is so fake and lies. Just try’s to fit in. Wears random band shirts that noone has even heard of. Well, im sure some people have, but not any good bands. That screamo shit. Lies about everything most of the time. Then during 5th the fake ass fights like a little girl. Holding onto me pinching and scratching me with his girl nails. I had him by the throat up against the glass wall and he said to let go and so I did because I did not want to “ fight, fight”. Then he goes over to a group of kids and says he was like stronger then me or something.. He isn’t I am. I know I am. Then he trys to play it off and act like we are friends. ‘says we have been friends since 3rd grade and doesn’t want it to be like this. We were never friends. Did I talk to him all the time? Does he know me? Do I call him? Do I go to his house? No. Anyways I just told you 5th. back after 3rd period, after lunch, I rush down to put my books away just to go up the hallway to see her. She is really pretty. Then I go to 4th hour. Oh, what a bore hole. Until… yesterday I was glancing over at the bf/gf beside me. She was giving him a hand job. It was really disturbing. He had his coat or whatever covering his unzipped pants. And I could hear what they were saying to each other. Then today they were trying to do it again, but luckily did not get the chance to. They talk about how they are starting to have sex together. It is funny, sorta. The only time I smile is when I laugh at something. Or think about the girl I like by myself. I do not smile. There is nothing in my life to smile about. People say smile. They do not know me. What the hell do I have to smile about? Nothing. I just think about how depressed I am. And wonder how the people would react if I killed myself. Then I go home, I am on the swim team didn’t go to the last few practices cause I am not even swimming in the final meet. Why and the hell should I practice with a bunch of bastard’s I hate and don’t like? When I talk to people, I mess up. Like I won’t tell them how I feel and cannot be myself. I end up saying something that makes me look like an idiot. I just really want to talk to her. She is 18 I am 15. I do not know what to do anymore. The past few years have been so bad. I am so depressed and wonder if there is anyone like me out there. Anyone like me. Am I even human. Does anyone else have these problems with no answer? I go home and listen to Shinedown and 3 days grace. I like them a lot. My asshole sister is going to their concert Monday w/o me. It is not even fair. She doesn’t even like them. I knew about this concert over a month ago and I am willing to pay the ticket. Bitch. Nothing ever goes my way. I go to bed.. I have trouble sleeping through the nights lately. I think about her a lot and wonder if she likes me too. I like her so much and I barley know her. I am so messed up. Its really hard to say hi or do anything to her or even look at her when I see her sometimes. I am ashamed. There are like 6 jacobs in my grade. One with the same last name as me even. I have no identity. II

Depression is absolutely normal in many teenagers lives.
I also suffer from it. What you are feeling is perfectly normal.
It sounds like you should be evaluated by a psychiatrist. Ask your mom to schedule an appointment or talk to a guidance counselor. Once you have a doctor, they may be able to prescribe you medications.
As for your girl, talk to her! She may surprise you, but you never know until you try. :]

Do lots of cardio to burn fat, change your diet, do some ab exercises to strengthen the muscle underneath your belly fat. Once you burn the fat off of your stomach you’ll have muscle definition underneath (= Make sure you’re getting enough protein so you can gain muslcle because muscle burns fat. Best of luck!
How to lose weight and fat without gaining muscle?
I’ve gained nearly 8 pounds over just a couple of months, and I would like to lose it again. Is there any diet or exercise that I can do to lose all of it over a month’s time? If it is an exercise, I just want to lose fat, but not gain muscle in it’s place, is that possible? Also, my target area is my arms where there is the most fat.
Also, I would prefer any exercise that can be done at home in short periods of time, multiple times.
Its strange to know that you dont want to gain muscle. If you start exercising, you will always put on a bit of muscle. It will only help you in your goald to lose weight.
here’s what you can do
1. Based on your age, figure out your Basic Metabolic Rate- you can do this easily online.
2. Your goal must be to aim for 500-750 (not more) calorie deficit each day through a combination of a good healthy diet and exercise
3. Eat your breakfast. Research shows that breakfast eaters lose more weight than those who do not.
4. Eat 4 -5 meals spaced out at intervals of 3-4 hours each day. This keeps your metabolism chugging well throughout the day.
5. Once every week, do a high calorie or a high carb day. Give into your cravings, have that pizza slice. just to give your body a break from the dieting and help you to stay on the wagon.
6. Exercise is must, if you want to keep the weight off and not just be subject to the yo yo diet syndrome. Cardio and Weight training – both forms of exercise must be included.
7. What you can do at home at bodyweight compound exercises as well as cardio style workouts. Some examples are squats, pushups, lunges, burpees, skipping, pullups chinups, spiderman pushups. Just scour the web for bodyweight exercises and you will surely get a lot more. Even better get some basic weights – a pair of dumbbells to start off and you can increase the number of exercises manifold.
The gut/arms/thighs are just a storage area. The concept of spot reduction is a myth. Our simple goal is to put our body in an energy deficit, through diet and exercise, so that our body will then have to dig into its reserves. That’s the gut, the hips, the legs, arms.
Again here, dont overdo the diet and skip the exercise. Our bodies are very smart. If they dont get enough food- presuming you go on a very low cal diet, our body tends to think that we are starving. Our metabolism goes down, the body then trys to hang on for dear life to the fat in our body. The exact opposite of what we aim for.
So eat well. Exercise well. Stay committed and you will melt that fat away.

Unfortunately, there is no way to "spot lose" fat. You can gain stomach muscles by doing crunches but if you diet or do cardiovascular workouts, like jogging, it will lower the fat percentage of your entire body, which wouldn’t of course be a bad thing. The best advice I can give you is to eat better so you will automatically lose some body fat and then do some sit ups and crunches to get those muscles showing so your belly will look flatter and firmer.

Is my doctor an idiot?
I saw my doc today and we were talking about my dermatologist and Accutane. He told me eating junk food causes acne; he’s not even a dermatologist. Then he suggested that I should cut back on it because I have lower belly fat. Yes I do have a little bit of lower belly fat. I eat healthy about 60 or 70% of the time. I workout about 3 times a week. I weigh 125 and I’m 5’6. I intentionally gained weight by lifting weights for those of you who don’t know muscle weighs more than fat so don’t say 5’6 125 isn’t a 0. Also the only place I gain fat is my stomach so if I lost all my belly fat I wouldn’t have any fat because otherwise I’m naturally thin. I’m a small size. In most stores I’m a 0 except at Abercrombie I’m a 2. I was even asked to work at Abercrombie. Yes I understand that junk food and lower belly fat is unhealthy. And my stomach is slowly getting flatter should I be worried or is my doc and idiot?
Your diet can affect your complexion but so can other things. As far as belly fat – where we are predisposed to store fat can impact our health. Belly fat is associated with higher risks of heart disease.
I am not saying you need to lose weight or that you are fat but weight really means nothing. You can be fat and 125 and you can be lean at 125.
I am not sure your doctor was being very diplomatic and perhaps even rude but he may also be looking our for your health.

Hi there. I’m going through the same thing as you and I’m going to tell you everything that I’m going to be doing these next few weeks. I’m not going to keep anything from you because I too, want you to have a flat stomach and the confidence every girl deserves!
Okay, so you have fat around your stomach? No problem. Losing fat is essential to working out because if you have fat and you work out on top of that, it’s not going to do any good. You first need to get rid of the fat. And you can do so by doing cardio. Cardio helps TREMENDOUSLY in losing belly fat. You can doing anything for cardio such as jogging, running, walking, biking, etc. Do at least 5 hours of cardio a week.
Now to tone up, you can do regular exercises such as crunches. On top of doing cardio to lose fat, you need to do regular ab exercises. This will help you build muscle and tighten up your skin, giving you that stomach you want. You need to keep this up though and not give up. Stay motivated!
Another thing you need to know is to EAT HEALTHY. Eating healthy is essential to successful weight loss. Please don’t starve yourself if you actually want to lose weight because by starving yourself, your body actually gains more weight than you would by eating healthy. So eat healthy!
And I want to show you this workout routine that I found online just today. Go to YouTube and type in "8 Minute Abs". This is a routine that I found and tried just a while ago. It works VERY WELL and you can certainly feel the burn in your abdominals! I’m sure by reading the comments on the video you can also tell that I’m not lying. Try doing this instead of regular crunches on top of cardio and healthy diet. This should be REALLY HELPFUL in getting that stomach you want!

In your case being so young, I would not diet, it’d wreck your metabolism for the rest of your life. I would do some exercises. Lay on your side resting your head on your hand. Raise your leg as high as you can, keeping it straight, focusing and squeezing your stomach muscles, and keeping your knees facing the same direction as your belly button, all the way as high as you can and then back down on top of your resting leg. Do twenty on each leg, then switch to the next. That’s one set. I do three sets a day.

you cannot spot reduce fat. but a very good way to burn lots of calories is to lift weights. it burns far more than cardio. also make sure you are not eating garbage. the only way to lose weight is to burn more calories than you consume.

my mom and sister tired this diet and they got sick sick. the water that it has you drink is a diuretic so you retain no water, hence losing some water weight to begin with. my mom got severe headaches and my sister got very dehydrated. they only stayed on it for 5 days!
