Can i starve my self to lose all this extra fat?
I’m slightly toned and im 6′3 and 190 pounds, i don’t know how i lost 70 pounds when i was 18 and im 22 now and i’ve stayed skinny since, i dont know if it was me picking up on cigarettes around 17 or my eating habits changed or even me growing up and hitting a fast metabolism. But since then i got some excess skin on my belly..its flabby and my chest isnt to tight lookin and my arms arent to toned cause im 2 high in body fat, and where i live i eat alot of fast food and i cant really stop eating it, its a long story so i cant even fix my diet.But i can cut down on foods and i can do alot of joggin ….but i need a faster way….can i starve my self to lose the excess BF?

I really like to ride my bike so I have been trying to do that a lot but I am afraid it will build a lot of muscle and that isn’t what I want. I just want to lose some of the fat. Will riding my bike help that or just add muscle? What is a good way to lose the fat?

How can I lose this baby fat?
This is kinda an embarrassing question but anyways, I’m 15, 5′4" and weight 117 pounds. I have quite a bit of baby fat around my stomach that I want to go away. When I start to exercise though and lose weight I never loose it in my stomach area, and then it makes me too skinny around my arms and such which looks really unhealthy on me. Help? Will all this baby fat just go away in a few years or even out as I get taller?

You don’t need to lose weight, you need to tone.
Try doing abdominal exercises. Do them every day, like twice a day for at least 15 minutes. You’ll start to notice a difference.

Okay so I am subconscious about my body my favorite part is my legs which are nicely toned. But, I want my arms to be stronger so I can actually do about 10 push-ups and I also want the fat around my stomach to go away. Everyday I do my stretch routine, but I want to add a exercises routine to keep my legs toned and banish my lower stomach flab and increase my arm strength. So please help!

areobic exercise of any kind specifically burns fat. fat cannot be lost in one specific area of the body. it is lost throughout the body at different rates it cannot be targeted specifically for one area without liposuction thats not how our bodies work. but having more muscle mass burns more fat just by being muscle. if your worried that by doing resistance training your going to look less feminine , dont. unless your shooting testosterone or other steroiods, it is impossible for a female to do anything but look like a really healthy inshape woman with resistance training. too many woman use the excuse or worry that they will look more masculine with resistence training, it cant happen without the amounts of testosterone men make. btw the best fat burning muscle making exercises are those that use the most amount of muscles, like squats ,deadlifts, bench press, and shoulder pressing in that order of effectiveness. oddly losing fat on your arms and shaping up muscles in women and just growing bigger arm muscles in men will best develope by squating (not leg presses , they use far fewer muscles) . squating causes the body to go into an anabolic state. an anabolic state is one that the body releases muscle building/fat burning hormones. the best bet would be to pick up a copy of womens muscle and fitness, find a regimen you can follow including at least 3 days a week of resistence full body training, and every other day of aerobic training. otherwise youll be in a disappointing losing battle trying to target arm fat with arm exercises, the last fat to go on the body is also the last fat to come off the body, good luck. looking good is a lifestyle not a quick fix.

Well, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that you can lose your tummy flab and become more toned. The bad news is that, in order to do this, you must reduce the amount of fat you have all over your body, not just in your stomach. You see, spot reduction, or the ability to lose fat in one specific area, is a myth. However, you can help tone specific regions through exercise.
What’s the best way to get rid of stomach fat?

jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it’s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat – if you have any – six
pack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches – I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.
Suggestions on how to lose body fat?
I’ve been lifting with Crossfit for about 1 month with limited cardio (20-40 min a week of high-intensity running and 2-3x Crossfit a week). I eat pretty well (no fast food, fish/chicken are my only meats, no soft drinks) but have the occasional junk food/booze binge. I’m 6′3" and 205 lbs.
So, I want to drop body fat percentage. Should I just focus on more cardio and keep my food intake the same? Should I drop caloric intake and increase cardio? I don’t want to drop calories too much otherwise I won’t put on muscle. Sensible plans please- no Acai BS.
Here’s the deal buddy, if you want to lose body fat and still gain muscle, you must do these 3 things:
1. Resistance Training (Don’t do any fluff workouts like arm curls, tricep extensions and/or leg extension crap. if you’re serious about getting lean. Then you need to do total body movements like snatches, lunges, squats, and box jumps)
2. interval training (Don’t do any long, steady pace cardio sessions that’s just a recipe for disaster. I want you do to more short, burst explosive movements)
3. Lastly, eat natural, whole foods (eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and don’t eat anything that’s in bag or box they are usually looaded with sugar)
three days a week, 45 minutes a less is all it takes to lose some serious fat..
