You should do cardio exercise for at least 30 minutes 3-4 times a week for best results. Keep up the good work and don’t lose hope. It takes time to get back into shape after to you have baby; it’s not the same as just losing weight you gain in the usual course of life. You set a very realistic goal and I think you will definitely be able to reach that with a healthy portion controlled diet and exercise. Good luck :o )

Hi, you can definitely tone and tighten your tummy with this exercise and you should add a few more to your ab routine so that you are working your abs for 8-10 minutes every other day. I have two children and got back into prepregnancy shape after each one. It took me about 1 1/2 to be totally back, mostly because I breastfed my children and as I’m sure you know, you have to keep a bit of weight on to do that with the most success. I also recommend that you do cardio exercise.

  7. YouTips4U says:

Hi, this is a terrific exercise for love handles!

@YouTips4U all these things help, but a high protein diet with low saturated fat will make a much bigger difference. great exercise btw, i usually use higher weights being a guy. Definately feel the burn in your core.

  9. Tiffylovesjoshua09 says:

Will this get rid of love handles? thats a big problem for me

Hi, this helps to tone and strengthen your abdominal and oblique muscles. To burn fat you need to do cardio exercise like running, jogging, walking, cycling, swimming, etc. several times a week for at least 30 minutes.

  11. Dollyparton1996 says:

does this burn fat? or just build muscle? cause i need to loose the fat and gain muscle

  12. Elinne27 says:

aww! ur voice is so sweet!
lol thanx 4 uploading ur vids! =]

  13. YouTips4U says:

Hi, that’s normal and happens because you used muscles that haven’t been used that way before. Let your muscles rest until they feel better and then resume the exercise. As you do this routine more often, you will get fitter and your muscles will not be so sore. You will still feel as though you worked them, but it will be much less uncomfortable.

  14. 000Wanted says:

i did it and my muscles didnt really hurt when i was doing it. But the next day they were hurting real bad…..

  15. dievelicious says:

hi, thanks for sharing your video, i’m trying to do this since i wan’t to get rid of my belly

  16. YouTips4U says:

Hi, yes that’s normal. You muscles are not used to this exercise that’s why they hurt. Let them rest until they feel better so your muscles can repair that’s how they get stronger. Then resume your exercise.

  17. coffee124 says:

I did the exercise 30 on each side on my first try and the next day, ma sides or waist is sore and it kinda hurts at times and when I try to do the exercise again it hurts and im unable to do it.. is that normal? am i doing it wrong?

  18. YouTips4U says:

Hi, yes it does. When you perform the exertion (going down with the weight) tense your butt and hold the ground firmly. The weights provide great resistance against your glutes during this exercise.

  19. sabrinadeliafranco says:

does this work out the butt?

  20. YouTips4U says:

Hi, this will not build your waist or make it thicker; it will tone and define the area. I have been doing them for years and I have a very small waist and I had two children too. The weights provide resistance which will tone you better and faster. You can certainly omit the weights, but if you do I would suggest a higher number of repetitions.

  21. Szwaja1 says:

isn’t this going to build up your muscle in your waist or do you have to use less weight to get that burn?

  22. dj11zz98 says:

    thank u so much

    big fan

  23. 73shab says:

thank u so much 4 leting me know

  24. PoorBoy1979 says:

    You’re cute…

  25. YouTips4U says:

Hi, this exercise should not be done for 30 minutes. That would not be good for you. Do 15-30 reps each side. Thanks for your question :o )
