How can I lose body fat and gain muscle?
I am tweleve years old and I have a little bit of a sweet tooth. Because of this I have some extra body fat around my stomach. I’m not fat but I just have some extra body fat. How can I lose weight while gaining muscle and controlling my sweet tooth?
12yo is a bit young to be worried about getting too much muscle growth. You are still growing and will fill out over the next few years. You really can’t cut body fat and grow muscle at the same time. You usually focus on one at a time. Grow the muscle and then it is easier to lose the fat. One exercise that will be good for you is push ups. They won’t put any stress on your body that you can’t hand and you won’t end up hurting yourself. Simply put – Lift some weights
Resistance training builds muscle and increases your metabolism. This in turn burns fat.
To build muscle you need to do heavy weight low reps
for example
Bench Press
3 sets of 8 at 215lbs.
To help lose weight 30-40 minutes of cardio at a moderate intensity three to five times a week will also help burn fat

Strap on weights. I love those, its effortless exercise. Right now I have over 50 pounds of weights strapped on to my body.
The more you put on the better off you are.

whenever you’ve got some spare time do 10 or 20 push-up and sit-ups everyday,
take a half-hour walk everyday, drink lots of water (about 2 or 3 quarts a day),
eat lots of protein,
and rather than eating 2 or 3 big meals a day eat 4 or 5 small meals a day (to keep your metabolism going),
and for your sweet tooth just eat fruits, cantaloupes are sweet (and really good for you too).
