how to lose fat without gaining muscle?
i do exercises evryday like step ups and sit ups but i dont want it to be muscle but i just want to lose the fat on my body. im worried that the stup ups will give me lots of muscle instead losing the fat. and also what is a cardio?

Cardio = any exercise that gets your heart rate up and keeps it up for an extended period of time. Examples are running, walking, cycling, swimming, aerobics etc.
The only way you’re going to get muscles is if you work a muscle hard and do lot of resistance work with it. The harder you make the muscle work, the larger it will become to deal with this. So in other words, don’t pump iron and you should be fine.
